Dave has lived in Caversham for over 20 years and is raising his young daughter here with his partner. He knows the area well and is passionate about keeping it a safe, welcoming community where everyone can thrive.
A former Reading Borough Councillor, serving from 2008 to 2012, Dave has remained actively involved in the local community, helping residents, supporting local causes and working closely with Conservative ward councillors Isobel Ballsdon and Saadia Saadat on issues affecting Caversham Heights.
Professionally, Dave has worked with some of the world's largest companies, specialising in customer experience, while also supporting small businesses with practical advice and connections.
Dave believes that making a difference isn't about holding a position, but about truly listening to people, getting involved and getting things done.
The by-election is being held to fill the seat previously held by Labour, following the resignation of its councillor in October due to ill health. Conservative councillors Isobel Ballsdon and Saadia Saadat continue to represent Caversham Heights, and Dave is standing for the vacant third seat.
