Housing

Wiltshire Council withdrew its Local Plan Review from examination on 19 May 2026.

Transport

Wiltshire Council adopted a new Speed Limit Policy in July 2026.

Council tax

Wiltshire Council approved a 2.99% general council tax increase plus a 2% adult social care levy for 2026/27; Band D is £1,981.15.

Environment

Wiltshire Council resolved in February 2019 to seek to make the county carbon neutral by 2030, and Cabinet committed to make the council carbon neutral by 2030.
