Housing

In 2025 the council sought feedback on its Sustainable Mobility Strategy (surveys open until 30 July 2025).

Council tax

Stirling Council's 2026-27 budget, approved 26 February 2026, includes an 8.75% increase in council tax.

“The remainder will be made up by an 8.75% increase in council tax, which will also provide additional support for the council’s revenue budget which funds the day-to-day running of vital services, from schools and nurseries to libraries and community centres.”

Environment

Stirling's Climate and Nature Emergency Plan targets carbon neutral council operations by 2035 and net zero for the council area by 2045.
