Housing

Brighton & Hove's City Plan Part One provides for a minimum of 13,200 new homes over 2010-2030.

Transport

Cabinet on 12 February 2026 was asked to agree the £8.801m 2026/27 Local Transport Grant capital budget allocation.

Council tax

Band D set by Brighton and Hove for 2026–27: £2,180.42 of a £2,580.54 total bill in the area. MHCLG, Council Tax levels set by local authorities in England 2026 to 2027 (Open Government Licence).

Cabinet on 12 February 2026 recommended a 2.99% general council tax increase plus a 2.00% adult social care precept for 2026/27.

Environment

The council has set a target for the whole city to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Education

The council proposes to consolidate Hove Park School onto its Nevill Campus site from September 2028.
