Born in Failsworth, Davenport says he understands the local community and wants to give residents a fresh start, promising reliable representation on Oldham Council.

His campaign will focus on opposing poorly managed HMOs, protecting green spaces, tackling antisocial behaviour, improving roads, cleaner streets and putting residents before party politics. The Conservatives have also pledged to oppose the use of hotels for asylum accommodation locally.
