Shard End deserves a strong, independent voice. Someone who will listen to residents, stand up for the community and focus on getting things done rather than playing party politics.

Earlier this year, I worked hard in Bromford and Hodge Hill, listening to residents, raising local concerns and fighting for a better future for our communities. That experience has taught me a great deal about the challenges facing our area.

And if that is what I have been able to do working in a neighbouring ward, just imagine the real work I could do as your councillor in Shard End!

My plans for Shard End include:

- Tackling fly-tipping — pushing for cleaner streets, faster action on dumped rubbish and greater accountability.

- Stronger community safety — building closer links between residents, the local police and the council to tackle antisocial behaviour and crime.

- Protecting our neighbourhoods — demanding proper accountability over housing standards, HMOs and the issues that affect the quality of life of local residents.

- Supporting local businesses and charities — championing our independent shops, traders, community groups and the people who help keep Shard End thriving.

- Standing up for elderly and disabled residents — making sure people who need support are heard, respected and not forgotten.

- Cleaner, safer public spaces — pressing for improvements to roads, pavements, green spaces and the places our families use every day.

- A brighter future for Shard End — encouraging investment, supporting local opportunities and helping make our community somewhere people are proud to live, work and raise their families.

I want to be a councillor who is visible, approachable and accountable. Someone residents can contact, someone who will challenge the council when things are not good enough, and someone who remembers that the job is about serving people — not serving a political party.

I’m standing as an Independent because Shard End must always come before party politics.

This campaign is about our community, our future and giving residents a genuine choice.

On 26 November, I’m asking for your support to help build a stronger, safer and more prosperous Shard End.
